3. OUR ROLE

Self Directed Plans provides administrative and document preparation services for self-directed retirement plans. Certain plan structures require a qualified custodian, trustee or other third-party service provider. Those parties are independent of Self Directed Plans and are governed by their own agreements, fee schedules and policies.

7. COMPLIANCE IS THE ACCOUNT HOLDER'S RESPONSIBILITY

Self-directed retirement plans are subject to rules under the Internal Revenue Code, including those governing prohibited transactions, disqualified persons, contribution and distribution limits, valuation and reporting. A transaction that violates those rules can result in taxes, penalties, and in some cases disqualification of the entire plan.

Responsibility for compliance rests with the account holder and the plan's trustee or responsible party. Self Directed Plans does not monitor, review or approve the transactions you direct, and does not advise on whether a proposed transaction is permitted.

8. ACCURACY AND CHANGES

The Sites are maintained with reasonable care, but tax law, retirement plan regulation and administrative practice change over time, and content may become out of date. Self Directed Plans makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of any material published here, and may change or remove it at any time without notice.

The Sites may link to websites operated by third parties. Those sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy and security practices. A link is not an endorsement.
